Against all odds, the Sidemen continue to be the kings of UK YouTube. They continuously provide long-form entertainment, and more often than not I can sit down and enjoy an hour or so of shenanigans every Sunday.
… That being said, not every Sidemen Sunday this year was a banger. How would I rank them all?
Before we begin, you can check out some of my previous Sidemen Sunday rankings below:
Every Sidemen Sunday 2021 Ranked
Every Sidemen Sunday 2022 Ranked
Every Sidemen Sunday 2023 Ranked
Every Sidemen Sunday 2024 Ranked
Could’ve Been MoreSidemen
Though the budget was clearly higher than a MoreSidemen video, these Sidemen Sundays wouldn’t be out of place on the second channel.
52 – Spend $1 For Every Calorie You Eat For 24 Hours
Calorie challenges always end up near the bottom of my rankings, and 2025 is no exception. They’re always cheap, forgettable and shallow.
This is a low-effort video, no doubt about it. But I don’t mind getting one of these every now and again to let the boys regroup and recharge.
51 – Sidemen Test Viral TikTok Foods
Another food challenge, another dud.
50 – 100,000 Calorie Cook Off
Sometimes a chaotic Sidemen Sunday is lots of fun, and others – like in “100,000 Calorie Cook Off” – it makes me question why I’m even watching in the first place.
49 – Train Roulette
Decent idea, ruined by the fact they got mobbed by fans. There’s always one video every year that cringey fans ruin and “Train Roulette” was it.
48 – North VS South Holiday
Maybe I’m just being mean, but it’s not much of a holiday (especially by Sidemen standards) if they don’t even leave the UK.
The guests added a nice dynamic but otherwise this was completely forgettable.
47 – First To Leave The Football Pitch
An obligatory low-budget football video. It’s impressive how it managed to escape my bottom five.
Decent
I watched these videos, enjoyed them in the moment, then forgot about them the second they ended.
46 – Road Trip But The Car Gets Older Every Hour
Here’s one of my hot takes for the year – I’m not a car guy, so the “Road Trip” videos don’t do it for me. And they did four of them in 2025 for some reason.
It’s a neat gimmick to have the cars age, but I really don’t care.
45 – Hide & Seek At KSI’s House
Maybe I’m getting too old for these kinds of “Hide & Seek” videos – especially since recent, “ultimate” versions prove that bigger can be better.
44 – $100,000 VS $100 Theme Park (Europe Edition)
One of the worst rich vs. poor Sidemen videos for sure. Nothing interesting happened.
43 – All Sports Golf (Forfeit Edition)
The drinking turned what could’ve been a mundane video into a slightly entertaining one.
42 – Abandoned In Europe (Extreme Edition)
Like the “Road Trips”, I think the “Abandoned” videos are starting to annoy me too. I don’t like seeing the lads split up and then wander aimlessly for two hours.
41 – We Invited 20 YouTubers To The Ultimate Summer BBQ
This should’ve been a slam-dunk. It ended up being one of the most disappointing videos of the year.
There weren’t enough interesting activities on offer, and KSI storming over to the other team’s side and ruining Harry’s food display is one of the meanest, least funny things he’s ever done.
40 – First To Find W2S Wins $20,000
A slightly larger-scale “Hide & Seek” concept, I’ll give it that, but like the “Abandoned” videos it just leads to people wandering aimlessly for ages.
Bonus points for Simon and Toby finding Harry immediately. That was a crazy coincidence.
39 – 7 Sidemen VS 1 Professional Chef
Nick DiGiovanni’s style doesn’t mesh well with the Sidemen. He’s informative and confident, while the Sidemen are usually a chaotic mess.
The video has its moments, though, and the judging at the end was a funny segment.
38 – Supermarket Sweep
I can’t say I ever remember watching the real “Supermarket Sweep” on TV growing up. It’s a neat concept but nothing special.
37 – First To Find £20,000 Keeps It
A decent scavenger hunt video. These types of videos are no doubt more fun to participate in than watch.
36 – I Took the Sidemen On Their First Hike
A nice, chill video. Not much happens on the hiking trip but it was good to see the lads hang out and banter.
35 – Sidemen Surprise KSI With Secret Birthday Party
Sweet gesture. Kinda half-baked video that could’ve been packed with more content.
34 – Road Trip But Every Hour The Car Gets Worse
Another, slightly better “Road Trip”. I always love a JME feature.
33 – We Let YouTubers Control Our Road Trip
If I had to pick a favourite “Road Trip” video this year (other than the holiday-ish one where they went abroad) it was probably this one.
The YouTuber suggestions made for some interesting challenges.
32 – Spend $100,000 On YouTubers: Forfeit Edition
I quite like the “Spend $100,000” videos they’ve started doing … but only when they spend it on themselves.
I didn’t really care about the YouTube friends getting the presents, which is a harsh but true thing to say. Save the Sidemen-adjacent content for Side+.
31 – We Explored Europe’s Weirdest Cities
A fun, city-hopping adventure that doesn’t say much. I hope the lads had some fun.
30 – Race Across An Island
A full-on race is always going to be more exhilarating than a bog-standard exploring or “Abandoned” video.
Madeira is a beautiful island, and the Sidemen did some funny challenges.
Banger
The Sidemen cooked for these videos.
28/29 – Sidemen Survive The 7 Wonders Of The World Part 1 & 2
I can’t recall a time when the Sidemen have split a video into two parts (other than the “Among Us In Real Life” rounds, maybe). It made sense to group the two videos together on this ranking.
The bigger groups create more banter than the usual pairs for these kind of foreign videos, and the sights were cool.
27 – Last To Leave The Pub
“Last To Leave The Pub” is a similar premise to “Last To Leave The Football Pitch”, so I didn’t expect great things.
Those low expectations helped – the challenges were engaging and the pub setting forced the lads to get creative.
26 – We Made The UK’s Biggest Talent Show
This was nowhere near as good as the talent show they did a couple years ago, mainly due to how most of the auditions were talentless nobodies.
This did lead to a few unknown gems, though – that girl singing Shakira while doing the worm still makes me chuckle thinking about it, and the mental man cracking eggs was odd but memorable.
25 – Last To Leave The Circle Wins $100,000
“Last To Leave The Circle Wins $100,000” was a little too high-concept for the Sidemen channel, I think. Save these kinds of soulless gameshows for Mr. Beast.
It wasn’t without merit, though – it was a funny group of YouTubers who had great chemistry with each other.
24 – Stay Overnight In An Abandoned Prison
This one felt like the good old days.
“Sidemen Stay Overnight In An Abandoned Prison” had lots of great moments, like the goats and the card game, and the prison setting was actually quite creepy.
23 – Box Of Lies: YouTuber Edition
The “Box Of Lies” videos are always a good time, and having other YouTubers pick the boxes went better than I was expecting.
This kind of video worked better than the “Spend $100,000 On YouTubers” one because the Sidemen themselves were more involved.
22 – First to Find Hypercar Wins It
An intense scavenger hunt with a great ending. The clues were pretty clever, too.
21 – Spend $100,000 On Each Other: Imposter Edition
The final video of 2025, and it was one of the better ones.
I was glad the Sidemen were spending the $100,000 on themselves again, as the presents were funny and personal. That being said, I think the imposter prompts were too hard – something to fix for a sequel, maybe.
20 – Open 100 Mystery Doors
Easily one of my favourite original video ideas this year.
Maybe it’s just my autism or my unshakeable curiosity, but I was on the edge of my seat anticipating what could be behind the doors.
19 – Pop The Balloon 2
I really like the “Pop The Balloon” formula as it leads to really funny moments, but this one wasn’t as good as the original.
16/17/18 – All Three Abandoned Storage Unites Videos
I’m going to cheat for this one – there were three near-identical “Abandoned Storage Unit” videos this year, so I’ll just lump them together.
It’s a fun game that leads to a great showcase at the end … but I’ll admit I’m getting a little tired of the formula. Maybe they can shake things up a bit next time.
15 – 20 Women VS 2 Sidemen: Marlon & Lacy Edition
My least favourite 20V1 (or 20V2 in this case) this year – Marlon and Lacy don’t really match what I’m looking for in a Sidemen Sunday.
That being said … you know how these videos always have people in the comments saying “nobody likes these videos anymore”? Well, I still do. I’m the only 20V1 fan left apparently. I’m ruining it for the rest of you.
14 – $200 VS $20,000 Winter Road Trip
A great Sidemen holiday (ish) video.
The highlight was easily Josh and Harry’s “goon heist” – definitely one of the best moments of the year.
13 – Sidemen VS 50 YouTubers Ultimate Hide & Seek In A Military Base
The simple “Hide & Seek” videos were getting stale, so these large-scale YouTuber hunting ones are a breath of fresh air.
The stadium setting was better than this military base, but the event was still a thrill from start to finish.
12 – We Tested Every Airbnb Category
Normally this is the kind of video that would finish in the middle of my end of year ranking, but for some reason “We Tested Every Airbnb Category” had the sauce.
The places they visited were lots of fun, and the special guests were all a riot.
11 – Last To Fall Asleep 2
A sequel to a recent Sidemen banger. While not as good as the original (sadly a running trend this year), “Last To Fall Asleep 2” still had some fantastic moments.
The vibes are always fantastic in ensemble videos like these, and that blob game was GOATed.
10 – Survive On A Raft For 24 Hours
The spiritual sequel to their “Survive in a Forest” video … and I actually think the raft setting made it a better video overall. A rare improvement for a Sidemen Sunday sequel!
The lads’ vibes were immaculate throughout, and the staging of the multiple rafts, islands and the shop led to a really engaging social experiment.
9 – YouTuber Pub Quiz
I used to host pub quizzes, and I’m an enjoyer of any sort of quiz or trivia. In other words, “YouTuber Pub Quiz” was a video made for me.
I loved everyone’s banter, and the questions and random rounds were entertaining too.
Elite
Among the best Sidemen videos they’ve ever done.
8 – Last To Fall Asleep Challenge
I forgot that both “Last To Fall Asleep” videos were this year – I thought this original was last year. Either way, this was an amazing, wholesome video.
Videos like this are proof of two things – the Sidemen still have entertaining chemistry when all together, and Harry videos are either the best or worst things you’ve ever seen.
7 – 20 Women VS 1 Sidemen: Fanum Edition
Fanum made for a better 20V1 guest than I was expecting. He was a great sport when it came to following the ridiculous prompts and suggestions.
6 – 20 Women VS 1 Sidemen: Zach Justice Edition
Zach Justice is a very funny guy, and I’ve already said how much I like the 20V1 format, so it’s no surprise I liked this one. Sue me.
5 – You Laugh You Lose: 24 Hours Edition
Another chaotic Harry video, another banger that had no right to be as good as it was.
There are too many funny moments in “You Laugh You Lose: 24 Hours Edition” to mention, but I wanted to give a shoutout to my MVP Jack Joseph – he had me dying of laughter at multiple points, like his Tomorrowland impression and his stand-up set.
4 – Airport Roulette
I tell you what, Chip coming into the video thinking they’d all be dressed as wizards is maybe my funniest Sidemen moment of the year.
Every team went on an amazing adventure in “Airport Roulette”, and I never thought I’d be so invested in a foreign beer pong tournament.
3 – 20 Women VS 2 Sidemen: Faze Ronaldo & Jason Edition
The best 20V1 video of the year for me.
Faze Ronaldo and Jason understood the assignment perfectly – they made every date a laugh, and their rivalry with each other was so funny.
2 – Charity Match 2025
In recent times, I can always count on the Sidemen Charity Matches to give me lots of goals and ridiculous moments. 2025’s match was no exception.
There were great goals, terrible goalkeeping moments, and Josh finally got his long-overdue goal.
1 – Sidemen Taskmaster
I’d hesitate to call “Sidemen Taskmaster” an original video, as they’ve clearly ripped off the TV show beat for beat, but it was the most entertaining Sidemen Sunday of the year either way.
Simon and Stephen were great hosts, every task was executed to ridiculous perfection, and the contestants all got individual moments to shine. I can’t ask for more from my Sidemen Sunday than that.
If we don’t get a sequel in 2026 I’ll cry.

2017: The Year In Music
2017 – Britain triggers Article 50, finalizing Brexit. Donald Trump is inaugurated as President of the United States. Macron is elected President of France. The Manchester Arena bombing kills twenty-two. The Grenfell Tower fire kills seventy-two. The Las Vegas shooting kills fifty-eight. An overwhelmingly despairing year for news … so can the music make us…
“Stranger Things” Season 5 – Every Episode Ranked
It’s New Year’s Day. I’ve just finished watching the “Stranger Things” finale, having watched all of the Volumes pretty much the moment they dropped. I’m not a superfan of this show … but this is the kind of bombastic, global entertainment that only comes around once in a blue moon so I’ve made an effort…
Every Ace Attorney Culprit Ranked
Have you ever cornered the culprit in an Ace Attorney case and said to yourself “God, I HATE them?”. Well, if you have, they probably fall into two categories – the culprits who are so memorable and hateable that they become iconic … and the ones that are just outright annoying. I’m going to rank…
